Will this screen will NOT fit under most awnings, pavilions or many trees due to the height?
We normally secure our screens by placing stakes in the ground and securing ropes to the screen. If your event is held on concrete or other surface that will not accept stakes, you will need to provide weighted items to tie off to. Examples would be 35-50 gallon trash cans filled with water, large concrete cinder blocks, anything that weighs 50+lbs. We would require 4-8 weighted items depending on wind that night.
What are the Electric Needs?
Your equipment requires a minimum of 1 outlets on separate breakers/circuits. Outlets must be within 100 feet of where the screen will be placed. We provide extension cords up to 100 feet. If plugs are farther than 100-feet, please call our office so our Event Specialist can talk with you about what cords you may need to provide. It is NOT recommended that the screen location be farther than 100 feet since your breaker will trip due to such a long cord run.
In order to get 2 separate breakers, we can run from any common area such as a community center, garage area, any exterior outlet, deck or generator. We do NOT provide a generator unless you add it to your rental with us at additional charge. If you provide a generator, a model with 5000+ watts and 2 separate breaker/circuits is required. We are not responsible if a customer provided generator will not power our equipment.
Can I still add Concessions/ Can I still upgrade screen size?
Yes, concessions and extra paper products can still be added. Simply call your Studio 19 Photo Booths Host or log into the website and add it to your order. Need a larger screen? Just contact our Event Specialist and we will be happy to provide you a quote for a larger screen!
What is provided with Concessions equipment and or Concessions Package?
Check our website for each concessions equipment piece for price and what's included.
If Full Service Concessions is included, we will set everything up and serve your guests for you. Our popcorn is popped with coconut oil - not peanut oil and is GMO and Gluten free.
Can we play video games before the movie?
Yes! If you have a gaming console, we can connect it to our jumbo screen for your crowd to play.
Can we connect a laptop or tablet to your projector & sound system?
Yes! If you have a laptop or tablet you need to connect please let us know ASAP so we can add it to your order (FREE), we just need to know about it. We need to make sure your laptop connections are compatible with our system. We are not responsible for event delays or cancellations if you fail to tell us in advance about your connection requirements or incompatible connections.
Can we play music/cartoons before the movie?
YES! Feel free to provide music DVD's, music CD's, an MP3 player, or cartoons before the movie if desired. Just remember, your Movie Start Time is the time you start the media, DVD's, cartoons, video games, etc. (must be dark) and is not added time to your rental.
When will the Studio 19 Photo Booths Tech Arrive?
Your Tech will arrive anywhere from 1 - 3 hours before Movie Start Time and is indicated on your invoice. Your FunFlicks Tech will call you if they are running late for some reason. Sometimes a Host may be delayed due to traffic and other circumstances. We don't guarantee your movie will start at the exact start time listed. Lighting, weather and other circumstance may cause your movie to start later than intended. Understand, our equipment can be set up in as little as 20 - 30 minutes. Our arrival time have buffer time in them to allow for any emergencies or problems with your set-up location, etc. This should allow the Tech to have everything set-up and ready by the your Movie Start Time indicated on your invoice.
What do I do in-case of bad weather predictions?
We will NOT cancel your event for weather predictions until the day of your event and not later than 2 PM. Please review weather at www.weather.com. Put in your zip code and click hour-by-hour. This is the only tool we use to assess the potential weather. You have until 2:00 PM on the day of the event to make a final decision. We do NOT look at weather until the morning of your event. Predictions change (often) and we want to give you the opportunity to have the event so we do not allow weather cancelations until the morning of the event. If you cancel your event prior to the day of your rental, you may be required to pay a rescheduling or cancellation fee according to your Rental Agreement.
What if weather clears up after 2:00 PM?
If you/we postponed your event, and it clears up - talk to the weather man....it was his prediction! We want to host your event just as much as you want the event. We both are discouraged.
Unfortunately, we won't have enough time to gather the Tech and the equipment to arrive to your location on time. If your event was scheduled to be indoors if rain, we are still coming....and if it is nice out, we will set up outdoors. (Just think about the mud factor)
How long is the show?
Our standard screen rental time is scheduled for 3 hours MAXIMUM of show time, unless you have added the double feature option. Anything over 3 hours requires the double feature charge for additional screen rental time. Most movies are 1.5 - 2 hours in length.
Do I Tip the Studio 19 Photo Booths Tech?
Tips are customary in any service business and tips range from $20-$200 depending on the event & screen size. We offer PRE-PAID gratuity options for our commercial customers that may want to include it in their invoice, but you're welcome to tip our tech on-site as well. We encourage our Techs to offer excellent customer service and you can help by not tipping if they don't offer this quality service!
